WELCOME TO THE WINTON A&P ASSOCIATION

The Winton A & P Association is a volunteer, membership-based organisation, and has been highlighting the rich Winton region of Southland since its first show held on 16 April 1875.

The Winton A & P Association Research Farm located just outside of the township was gifted to and has supported the A & P Association for over 100 years.

The region is rich in agricultural history and it is our intention to continue this legacy for the community by providing an annual FAMILY ORIENTATED FUN DAY of events for everyone by way of a varied schedule of entertainment that highlight the region through supporting the youth of the area from schools, work and communities to become involved in the agricultural industry.

The show is held annually on the third Saturday in January.

Winton A & P Association Research Farm Scholarship

The Winton A & P Association Research Farm Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for young individuals who are passionate about agriculture and farming.

This scholarship aims to support students financially as they pursue agricultural-related courses through a Tertiary Institute either full-time or part-time. By offering this scholarship, the Winton A & P Association is not only helping students achieve their educational goals but also raising awareness about their association and the Research Farm. This initiative reflects the Research Farm's core objectives of enhancing agricultural practices.

It's a wonderful way to encourage the next generation of farmers to bring positive changes to the agricultural industry.
